I’m not a big fan of Dubai, but I can’t deny that they have some great art related events in the driving distance.
So, on December 8th and 9th, my friends and I went there to check out design days, work and tinker. It was a lot of fun and I took some pictures that I am proud of these two days. You can see some of them after typing this sentence, because I don’t know how to stop it yet, and you get this mess.
Well, I did. Enjoy and let me know what you think!
Amna is actually a good driver. Unfortunately this can’t be said for everyone on the road.
And then we set off on Alsarcal Avenue before heading to Dubai and Tail & Tinker, so Sarah was able to pick up a few things such as desert safari , where I found this wall, which is a very accurate representation of me.
Hussa! We have come to labor and tinker, where wonderful men are selling their wonderful creative work
My favorite picture was from where I was standing, and I walked over to take a picture of him, and he said, “How are you taking me?” It’s super juicy and very cute. I loved his smile and the joy he radiated.
Now we’re back to the design days that went on dates 8 and 9, because a) there were a lot of (expensive) things around, b) our friend worked there with a gallery displaying this trippy installation, and c) well, that’s what we’ve done.
Would love to see how this space uses lighting very interactively.
Okay, I’m going to close it now, but before I do that, here are some tips on plants and other things that don’t fit any theme I’m trying to stream above. There are lots of blues and greens.
